Previous Fragrance on Friday's

This is a very recent purchase of mine, my beloved 'So hooked on Carmella'
from Benefit has now been discontinued,
I had smelt the other scents from Benefit but I didn't love any of them until now.
As you may know I'm currently working for boots as part of my university
course, I'm seeing how the business runs...
 but
the manager knows I'm a lover of beauty so she put me on the Benefit counter
 with the Benefit girls,
As I sat there I got a whiff of something incredible and I knew I was taking
home whatever it was, after two days I located the scent,
it was 'Ring my bella'
..and indeed I did, as it came home with me that night!
It's described as:
"fruity floral – sweetly seductive.

she flutters and flounces

lace, satin and more
her spirit so sexybella’s

shop you’ll adore.
slip sweetly into

a lush, juicy fling
for a frill-seeking time

“go on and ring.

Thanks Benefit, very descriptive...
*cough*

Notes
Top notes: pink rose petals, soft lily, summer daisy
Middle notes: Egyptian jasmine, creamy peony
Bottom notes: white patchouli, vanilla tincture, white musk
(what on earth is a tincture?!)

I can't smell rose petals, daisies or any of the others except
for vanilla and lily,
although both of these notes are very faint,
This literally smells like sweet raspberries with very, very, very faint floral undertones,
somehow it yet manages to smell sophisticated while you smell like a raspberry..
what is this wizardry?!

Now on to the packaging, first off it's opaque so you can't see how much you
have left and the bottle is gold coloured metal with a patterned
paper label secured to the bottle, this doesn't thrill me but the
outer packaging really does!
As this is a new scent to me I photographed the packaging it comes in... I love it<3

It's some sort of Parisian looking lingerie shop inside and out, it's super cute with
the little chandelier printed on the inside lid of the box and such,
each fragrance has a different box and they're equally as stunning,
shame about the inner bottle, it works fine but it's not my cup of tea.
(I don't even drink tea!)
The lasting power of this fragrance is pretty good, I can get a good
5 hours or so out of this and have it still smell great.
Although the initial strong scent dies down pretty quickly but once it's settled it's
equally as nice.
I think this fragrance is a little pricey considering it's not designer brand or
from a full on fragrance brand.
Benefit is a make up and skincare brand primarily so I think £25 would be more
the sort of price it's suited too,
I think £29.50 is pushing it for the brand name and that they don't specialise in fragrances.
Although I do think it's a beautiful scent and I couldn't resist so I
had to deal with the price tag.

Pro's
-cute outer packaging
-good lasting power
-beautiful unique scent

Cons
-a little pricey for a makeup/skincare brand's fragrance
-not in love with the bottle (can't see amount left)

overall I really like this fragrance, I wish it had a clear bottle and also a slightly nicer
bottle but it's a love/hate thing.
Also the price is pushing it slightly but apart
from that I can't fault this fragrance.
so if you want to smell like a sexy floral raspberry lady,
or man.. no judgement.. then this is the scent for you,
It's very fresh, clean and sweet while being grown up.

I personally couldn't resist buying this, it's mouthwateringly good!
(is that even a word?) ^^^

I'd rate this fragrance 4.5 / 5
<3
